The following is information we received via letter from Tim Wiebe - Chief Firearms Officer:
Effective July 1st, 2014, the Provincial Firearms Office will be assuming the responsibility for the delivery of the Canadian Restrcited Firearm Safety Course.
Until June 30th, 2014, anyone wishing to register for the CRFSC can continue to do so with the College Communautaire du Nouveau-Brunswick - Dieppe Campus.

Saturday May 10th beginning at 9 am at Basswood Ridge Range! This event is displacing the “in-house RO workshop” that was scheduled. This workshop is in preparation to an event (tentatively) scheduled for August 9th in which Beretta will supply firearms and The Gun Dealer will supply ammo. A Restricted Handgun Course is scheduled for the St. Stephen area
Friday Mar 28 to Sunday Mar 30, 2014.

IPSC (International Practical Shooters Confederation is having a workshop/demo at our Basswood Ridge Range this Saturday
November 23rd beginning at 10 AM. It is not being held in Saint John.
Come on down and learn something new and interesting!

Family Day at Basswood Ridge Range has been rescheduled for Satuday October 5th. Events will begin at 10 AM and conclude at 2pm.
Admission is $5.00/person or $10/Family.
Events include 22 Caliber Rifles, Blackpowder and Handguns.
Hotdogs, Hamburgers and Refreshments are free while they last.

Victoria Day Weekend 2013 was a busy one for many SCSC members. The Youth Airgunners made their usual strong showing at two events and some of the adults got some trigger time as well. On Saturday, May 18, the club held a Cowboy Action Shooting Demo/Workshop at the Basswood Ridge Range. On April 10, 2013, top air-pistol shooter Mark Hynes gave a clinic at the St. Croix Sportsman Club's Youth Airgun facility. Stationed in Gagetown, NB, Hynes has travelled the world since the late 1980s competing in internationally-ranked competitions such as the 1991 Canada Games, being Top Junior at the Canadian Airgun Grand Prix in 1995 and placing third in Men's Air Pistol in the most recent Canadian Grand Prix. I just saw this on The Gun Dealer's Facebook page:
